Dr. K Senthil

Dr. K Senthil is an experienced Urologist and Andrologist, currently practising at the Urology Clinic in Coimbatore. In addition, he teaches at the PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (Medical College) and is a Visiting Urologist at Kongunadu Hospital and Ganga Medical Centre and Hospital, all of which are also located in Coimbatore.

Dr. Senthil has an MBBS, an MS in General Medicine and an MCh in Urology as his qualifications. He has attended a large number of workshops and courses to enhance his knowledge and skills in his areas of specialisation. He has been practising as a urologist since 1996, and his main areas of interest are reconstructive urology (bladder and urethral reconstruction), neurourology, urodynamics and andrology. After completing his MCh, he trained and worked in the UK for four years at various hospitals including the Southern General Hospital, Glasgow, the Pinderfields and Pontefract Hospital, Wakefield, and the Dumfries Royal Infirmary and Falkirk Royal Infirmary in Scotland.

Dr. Senthil has authored or co-authored numerous research papers and articles, many of which have been published in peer-reviewed journals. Several of his contributions have also been presented at medical conferences and meets in India and the United Kingdom. In addition to being an award winner for his poster and paper presentations, he has also been involved in teaching and delivering lectures on subjects connected to his field. He regularly attends medical conferences and symposia as a delegate, and is a member of various professional associations. Dr. Senthil endeavours to create awareness and educate patients by sharing his knowledge and expertise. His extra-curricular interests include computers and environmental issues.
